Dr. Jonathan Wood has extensive technical expertise in the areas of analog electronics, analog circuit design, power electronics, electronic power supplies, DC-DC power converters, feedback control systems, and electromechanical systems.
He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering, and he holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At M.I.T. his research studies were in Electronic Power Conversion and Feedback Control Systems. His thesis at M.I.T. represented pioneering work in the field of power electronics and related feedback system theory.
He has an extensive list of technical publications, including two pioneering papers on the phenomenon of chaotic behavior in electronic power converters.
He has given lectures on feedback control systems and power electronics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Harvard University, Duke University, and the Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC).
He holds 16 patents in the field of power electronics.
He has held a US Secret Clearance.
